We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our energetic team and play a critical role in building a great company, by gaining new clients and managing our current clients. Because Awato is a small team delivering a complex product to multiple customers, this role will have a variety tasks and opportunities for growth in marketing and sales.
- Work with the marketing team to identify key market segments
- Generate new business opportunities
- Effectively interact with current customers in person, on the phone and through email to ensure customer success
- Partner with key members of the sales and marketing team to develop target lists, call strategies and core messaging to ensure success
- Perfect the ability to explain how Awato’s product works
- Help plan and attend tradeshows
- Work with the marketing team to maintain the company’s social media and blog
- Prospect and qualify leads and pass them to the appropriate account representatives
- Professional, ambitious, determined, and results oriented mindset
- 0 – 2 years of business development experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Positive attitude, team oriented, self-starter who can work independently as well as in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals
- Experience selling SaaS products preferred
- Some experience with CRMs like Hubspot or Salesforce
